Sip a mimosa and learn more about why there’s a giant ground sloth at 5th and Chestnut in Old City at this special event. Join the American Philosophical Society (APS) and the Philadelphia’s Historic Neighborhood Consortium (PHNC) for a morning of megalonyx, museums, and mimosas.

Guests will receive a private tour of the APS Museum’s current exhibition, In Franklin’s Footsteps: 275 Years at the American Philosophical Society. There will be complimentary mimosas served alongside the megalonyx in the APS’ Jefferson Garden.

This program is held in partnership between the American Philosophical Society (APS) and The Philadelphia’s Historic Neighborhood Consortium (PHNC).

Registration required. Space is limited to 45 guests. Guests must be 21 years of age and over with photo ID. The program will take place on Sunday, May 20, from 10AM to 12:30PM at the APS Museum (104 S. 5th Street). Tours start promptly at 10AM.
